120,000+ products. A complete ecommerce platform. An AI-native future in development. This is what happens when you refuse to quit.
I'm 47, based in the UK, and I deliver parcels for a living — 180 to 400 of them a day, six days a week, in all weathers, for Evri. While I'm out on my rounds I think about code, product, architecture, go-to-market. In the evenings I build.
ShopWithMore is the latest chapter in a long story of trying, failing, learning, and trying again. I've had near-misses. I've walked away from projects I spent months on. I've lost money on domains and ideas that didn't click. I know what it feels like to be close — and I know what it feels like when something finally does click.
This one clicked.
It started with Orderfor.net — a food delivery platform, before I realised that market was already dominated globally. Then came Getfor, an ambitious superapp concept covering grocery delivery, taxis, couriers — everything under one roof. The idea was bold. The UK didn't really have a true superapp. But something didn't feel right. I didn't own the .com. And more importantly, I was attempting the almost impossible.
So I walked away. A couple hundred pounds in domains, gone. I gave my head a rest.
"Then I discovered UFurish.com — and everything changed."
I looked into how they operated. Affiliate links. Deep API feeds. No stock ownership — just the platform, taking a commission on every sale. Simple. Scalable. Then the question that changed everything hit me: how can AI play a part in this?
The answer became ShopWithMore.
I couldn't launch with a grand vision and nothing behind it. So I started with what I had — contacts, determination, and the desire to code something from scratch. Just like 1994.
With the help of Claude AI, I put together the plans, the architecture, and the code. Using a local supply of over 120,000 products, we built a complete ecommerce platform — search, product pages, cart, checkout, customer accounts, automated daily product imports, image hosting, payments. The whole thing.
By May 2026 — roughly five months after the idea solidified — ShopWithMore V1 was live.
V1 is the foundation — a working, revenue-generating platform that proves the model. V1.1 is already being built, adding new features and improving the experience. V2 is where the real vision comes to life.
ShopWithMore exists because the way customers shop online is changing. With AI becoming the new norm, ShopWithMore and AI together become the perfect shop mall — one that knows who you are, not just what you bought.
ShopWithMore V1 was built entirely in the evenings and early mornings around a full-time parcel delivery job. What you're looking at is the result of months of building, breaking, fixing and rebuilding — alone. It's not perfect. But it's real, it's live, and it's just getting started.
